Groups for Caregivers
We offer a multitude of online Caregiver Support Groups. These are an opportunity for parents to learn from each other under the guidance of a Registered Clinical Counsellor. This space facilitates new learning and also emphasizes to caregivers that they are not alone.

- Caregivers for Loved Ones with Dementia Support Group: Supporting caregivers on their journey taking care of loved ones impacted by dementia illnesses. Join us in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for a time of sharing and listening.

- Neurodiverse Caregiver Support Group: Supporting your neurodiverse loved one can involve a lot of emotional and physical energy. Join us in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for a time of sharing and listening as parents come to encourage and problem solve together. This group is for individuals who have children of any age who identify as neurodiverse (no diagnosis required).

- OCD Caregiver Support Group: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder impacts the entire family system. Family accommodation, burn out, and frustration with limited services are the typical experiences family’s report when they have a child with OCD. Join us in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for a time of sharing and listening as parents come together to encourage and problem solve together. Facilitated by Kathryn, a clinical counsellor, this group is for individuals who have children of any age with OCD like tendencies.

Moms 4 Moms

Come share, connect, and grow in this uniquely supportive, affirmative space with others who can relate to the joys, rewards, concerns, and challenges of motherhood. Together we will realize our strengths, cultivate meaningful connections and memories, and share powerful skills and resources to support each another in realizing our abilities as we navigate this one of a kind journey.

- Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group
Join us to explore topics such as:
- Learn and practice positive parenting approaches
- Become aware of and learn how to navigate community resources available for child and caregiver
- Gather knowledge regarding strategies for avoiding isolation and gain support from peers
- Learn coping strategies to support children and families
- Develop mindfulness skills: breathing exercises, meditation, and five-minute activities
- Develop awareness of how burnout can affect mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and develop a safety plan for prevention
- Learn how to navigate grief processes for child and caregiver
